In case you are wondering the picture above is of a tiny fishing village in the Pelion called Horton or Horto locally. It is a very quiet and beautiful place with no night life just peace and quiet.
My name is Mark and I live in North Lincolnshire in the UK. I am 49 years old and have been married to my wife Liz for 24 years and we have one daughter and 3 Cats.
We have been travelling to Mainland Greece and the Greek Islands for many years for our holidays even going so far as to learn the language although we are not fluent by any means.
Our long term aim is to be able to buy a property in Greece with a view to eventually moving out there permanently for our retirement.
Hope you all enjoy using this site _________________ |

Hi Mark
I love your website! Your idea of getting all travel afficionados together to discuss and share their ideas is very commendable.
You're very lucky to be able to travel to Greece and even luckier if you can secure a place for your retirement in that lovely photo above.
I haven't been to Greece, but I used to have office mates before who originally came from there and still have families and relative living in one the Greek Islands.
Greeks are very lovely, kind-hearted and friendly people. I envy you!
All the best to you and your family. Happy New Year!
Best regards _________________ Eduardo and Marlene

Thanks for your message and I am really glad that you like this site and my picture of Greece!
My idea for creating this site was to bring a community of Travel sites together to the mutual benefit of us all and the site has certainly grown in leaps and bounds since I set it up in June 2007.
Perhaps one day you will be able to visit Greece too, there is something about the country that draws us back year on year.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year from a cold and miserable UK.
